Grambling State University is a public historically Black university located in Grambling, Louisiana. The Tigers compete in NCAA Division I athletics as members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Grambling State athletics has a long history of competition within the SWAC and is nationally known for its football tradition. The department sponsors a range of varsity programs across men’s and women’s sports.
