Bethune-Cookman University is a private historically Black university located in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Wildcats compete in NCAA Division I athletics and are members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The athletic department sponsors several varsity programs and represents the university in conference competition across multiple sports.
