North Alabama Lions Athletics

The University of North Alabama is a public institution located in Florence, Alabama. The Lions compete in NCAA Division I athletics and are members of the Atlantic Sun Conference, with football competing in the United Athletic Conference at the FCS level. North Alabama transitioned to Division I in the late 2010s after a long history in Division II. The athletic department sponsors multiple varsity programs across men’s and women’s sports.
