NJIT Highlanders Athletics

The New Jersey Institute of Technology is a public institution located in Newark, New Jersey. The Highlanders compete in NCAA Division I athletics as a member of the America East Conference. NJIT sponsors multiple varsity programs and participates in regional and national competition at the Division I level. The athletic department has transitioned conferences in recent years while maintaining Division I status.
